Okay, so I'm a graphic designer and one half of a marketing company in Halifax. Being my own boss means I get to wear whatever I want to work, usually jeans, t-shirt and the superstars.

This morning I got a phone call at 8.45 asking if I could meet with a new client to discuss some branding work. I was already in the office and didn't have my black TLs, just the blue and yellow vulcs on that I picked up the other week.

The client was based in Manchester, so I drove over and waited in reception to meet him. When he came out, the first thing he noticed were my trainers and asked me what the hell I thought I was doing wearing Leeds United colours in his office!

I never even thought of it like that before - he wasn't bothered that I was wearing supes, just that I appeared to support Leeds! I got out of it by telling him they actually represented the Swedish flag as my mother is Swedish (a big fat lie) and the rest of the meeting went fine. But my Superstars could have cost me a client!

Anyone else worn Supes where they probably shouldn't have?

A quick intro then...
I started getting into SSs last year when my longterm girlfriend was annoying me and beginning to take over my life. I went out and blew £55 (not a lot but almost a weeks shopping) on a pair just as a sort of "f*ck you" behind her back and because I'd always wanted a pair. Turns out she was cheating on me anyway. One year later and I'm happily single and live with a collection of over 20 SSs.

I'm looking for some orange supes in a uk8 or 8.5. Maybe pair of the orange adicolors that were in schuh at the begining of the year, or some white with orange stripes or black with orange stripes (Morbids or halloweens perhaps?). I know there is a pair of white/orange supes on ebay, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any others anywhere that had slipped past me?

I have a spare 35th box for a pair of size 8 supes (the CRK's I got the other week were shipped in it, and I have put them in a normal blue box I had spare). If anyone wants it then PM me, I'm not looking to make a profit!

i know it's in adidas shop in vienna near stephansdom, it costs 30 eur - perhaps someone know a little cheaper place? it's for my friend. i've found only size XL on ebay..
