Total Superstar virgin here (shocking, right?), coming from Liverpool, UK. Originally from the North-East (sunny Newcastle), moved down here 4 years ago. Bit of a computer geek (I make video games for a living).

Recently got interested in the world in Superstars, looking to finally buy my first pair - so many great varieties! Unfortunately from trying on a load of pairs instore, I'm a size 9.5UK which most stores don't sell, so I'm trawling through ebay to find a great (and legit!) first pair.

Looking through the "Members Collections" forum, you all seem to have an impressive collection - hopefully one day I will too!

As it's halloween an' all that coming up, decided to pick up a pumpkin and see what I could do. Anyone else doing pumpkins, post them up here.

I know you probably are getting fed up with me always requesting something new every now and then....

But today while i was watching a basketball game at school, i saw someone in the stands wearing a burgundy adidas originals snapback hat (basically IDENTICAL colour to the kzk red 80's). It had the Trefoil on the front, and 'adidas' on the back right over the snaps. I was so excited i ran to the ATM, pulled out some cash and went back to offer this guy some money for his hat!

by the time i got back the buzzer had already gone and this dude had left the stands, i was super bummed out! For some reason i think it's a really retro item from like the mid 80's or early 90's.. but i'm hoping not because it seemed to be in very good condition, almost brand new!

Just wanted to know if anyone has spotted any, and if they know where to get their hands on some, LET ME KNOW PLEASE.

im a big big fan of our beloved shell toe & all things adidas to be honest
and built up a nice collection over the years

i've managed to find myself a few good sources for buying samples its even netted me a few hundred quid in profit on live auctions per pair

i love samples cos there always different loud an certainly rare
some people dont like them though ,,,what do you guys think ?????
prefer them not in your collection ???

Oh, I'd assume they are real as they came from Sun and Sand Sports in Dubai and I've never had any issues there in the past!

My name is Andy and I am a Kiwi that lives in Melbourne Australia. I work my ass off as one of the premier cocktail makers in a wicked cocktail bar.

I fell in love with Adidas Superstars when I was a kid and my mum n dad wouldn't buy me them cos they were too expensive. (and I grew too fast). Since then I have endeavoured to make up for it.

I mainly buy my kicks from Adidas shops around the world when travelling but have picked up a few pairs in Asia and although they look real am not sure. Would be nice to pick some of your brains bout them.

Anyway. Stoked to find this site and have already scoped a few of your collections. Jealous and Loving it.

Bought my first standard Foot Locker pair in school after saving pocket money for the best part of 4 months and have been into them since. Loving some of the newer models (atmos 80s!!) and have decided I want to start collecting hence the signup.
