I stumbled upon this recently, and I figure this is cheap for Superstars?.(Because even the non-special ones usually run for 50-80$) The shoe colors may not be amazing, but I think it's a great deal . And.. yeah, the shoe should be genuine? because mine doesn't have a tag on it haha.

I was born on an island outside Trondheim (the middle of Norway, and quite nowhere...) but moved to the suburbs of Oslo. Then moved to Oslo and have been living here since the late 80`s.

I came across your forum whilst surfing the web for information on the different kinds of Superstars models. Done some shopping on ebay, because the selection in Adidas Superstar in Oslo is, ehh, a kind of limited, and it seems quite nice to get some Superstars not seen in Oslo. I have 10 pairs and love them all.

I suffer from Multiple Sclerosis and find it easier to walk with my Superstars on, because they give my balance "support" so that I don`t trip that much.

I first came aware of the Superstars in Run DMC/Aeorosmith video of "Walk this way". I have now learned that they were called Superstar 1 (correct me if I am wrong). Then came the different color variations and as far as I know, they were the Superstar 2. They are the same models in shape.(?)

What I really would like to find out is how the Superstar 80s differ fraom Superstar 1 and 2?

I have trouble reading, so maybe I have overlooked the answer to this question in one of the posts in the forums, but is there anyone who can help me out?

I have come to the conclusion that I like the original medium fat laces the most in my supes. Unfortunately I only own a couple of pairs. I have no idea if these laces can be bought anywhere.

Maybe some of you don't use them (because you flipped them to fats) and want to sell them to me or trade them (I have a box full of all kinda laces).

First of all I apologize for any typing mistakes as my english ain't that good.My first pair of superstars was b/w superstar II ,later on I saw red/white version in Italy its like 10 years ago ,I bought them immediately.
I must say I thought thats one and only colors they make,probably were not so popular here in Slovenia till now ,but still they only sell few models.
Week ago I visit official adidas store and saw many more superstar version so i start searching on internet and found this forum and I was amazed by some members of superstar collection they own.I buy my self every year a pair of b/w superstar II its an epic model.I'm waiting now on adidas Superstar 80s White Black from Kicks-Crew and I found them with this forum help I decided to make a small collection of my fav models and as its hard to find them in proper size everything become even more interesting.Im really happy I found you guys,cya around

So I'm kinda new to the Superstar world, but I kinda love them. xD I'm a Bboy/dancer, and I usually kinda destroy shoes quickly, going through 2 pairs in around 3 months. So a couple weeks ago, my friend recommended I go get Shelltoes/Superstars. Ironically, I found white superstars with red strips on sale for 30 dollars, so I got two pairs, and dangg they're nice. xD. I've only had them for a couple days and haven't had them on for more than a period of 5 hours but they're really appealing to look at. . andd yeah.
OH YEAH, and I'm from the greater metro Boston area for all the creepy stalkers that want my shelltoes.(Even though they're uber dull compared to the ones I've seen on this site)
