Ola kids

Just a quick question, mods feel free to delete this afterwards. How do ZX800's compare with Supes? Never owned a pair, just wondered if I'd need to go up or down or size.

Cheers.

Two pairs that I cannot wear as they are a tad too small for me.

IB's are gone to a new home.

Badboys with out box. Also in good condition.

Reluctantly going to let this go. I love the jacket but realistically it's a tad small so I'd prefer to let it go to get something else in i'm going to wear. Size Medium

Comes in a rare colourway that is a States release. Offer away or I'd be interested in any trades for jackets or supes in a 10

Other jacket available is this Safety release. Size Medium again. Again, the fit just isn't right for me as a tad big so not going to get the wear out of it. Similar as above. Offer away or would consider for trades against jackets or supes

Will leave them here for the week to gauge any interest before hitting the bay with them.

Afternoon All

When I were a lad I used to go to the football matches and try my best to stop anyone standing on my Gazelles, Sambas and Kicks. I must have gone through about 10 pairs of reds and blues G's in a 5 year period. Role forward 20 years and I continued the trend with superstars (well for the last 6 or so years anyway). I never actually thought that anyone collected them until I found this site and was blown away by the collections that people have.

I don't have much of a collection myself, 6 pairs, and they are mostly shite but since spending the last 3 days reading through this site that is going to change and it has started with some gum toe skates from MrShoeshotta and I'm well impressed.

One day I may have enough to take some pics and submit them up until then I'll keep plodding along.

I only wish I had never put any of my Superstars in the washer - oh well you live and learn.

just browsed the site and noticed there's two more colours available for supes:

metallic gold and kelly green

– nice to see more colours added, but I think we could still use a few more, like charcoal, a shade or two of blue, warm sun yellow, etc, etc.

IMO it would also be nice if shells and soles were available in the same colours as the rest of the supes.

Quick update:

I just tried using the two new colours and they both come up as red... Laughing

Hey Everyone! What a great site!!!
My name is TJ and I'm from LA. When I was younger I had a pair of shell toes. I was at a vintage shop on Melrose and they had a pair there but they weren't my size. I kept kicking myself for not getting them and starting a collection.
So, I picked up my first pair. I found them in another shop on Melrose. They are brown leather shell toes with brown stripes and brown soles. They have a gold embroidered trefoil logo on the heel and Superstar Logo on the padded tongue. In doing research to find out which Superstars I bought, I became amazed!!! So many awesome styles and models, that I now want, and so many FAKES.
I'm hoping my first pair is not fake!!! I have not been able to find an exact match. I thought they might be Superstar II Chocos but the gold embroidered trefoil heel and tongue don't match. The insole on my pair have the adidas logo opposite each other, the eye holes don't have grommets, and the soles seem to be correct. But, I haven't been able to find which Superstar it is or even another brown/brown/brown trainer.

Please tell me that my first pair aren't fake. Thanks! TJ

Hey All,

I know theres a few bikers on here so though I'd pose the question. I'm looking to get a new bike and fortunate enought to be able to do it through the 'cycle to work scheme' so for a beginner I think I have an pretty good budget. Other than commuting though I want to do some off roading and eventually get to some trail centres and do jumps and stuff.

What sort of bike should I be getting, as there are loads of different ones out there, which I guess will all be spec'd up to certain types of mtb'ing. I've been looking at a Specialized Rockhopper Comp but have no idea if it would suit my needs.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Yello,

Now I've said ello and worked out how this 'ere site sort of works, can I try again with telling me what these 'ere Superstars I have are.

I bought these earlier this year in Dubai at the Sun and Sand sports (Adidas concession) in Ibn Batutta Mall and no heel tags and 2 diff serial numbers so I'm fairly confident there are the real deal, but I want another pair in white (that I didn't buy as they didn't have a 9)

Tongue tells me they are Article: G16314

I've tried Google but all I'm getting is Turkish and Chinese sites and my Turkish/Chinese isn't that good... I get from Google that they are Superstar II (which I knew anyway) but other than that not a lot.. So am a little confused, I've tried looking at adidas.ae but with little luck as I assume they are no longer current models...

any help?

Cheers!
