I'm 31, and became a "collector" on december 05, when i visited nyc and got my first pair of 35th annyversary (boston),

Since then, i tried to make grow my collection, and now i have 20of this collection, plus 4 "made in argentina", originals, but not the same.

I find this forum the last week, and couldnt believe all the info i find here!

I'm trying to complete the 35th collection, but is getting really hard to find real and fair priced shoes of those!

I hope that posting here, maybe i can find help to find the ones im missing.

I know that if the shoes contain the same number they are fake. How about if they are one number off? I have a pair of NY's that are only 8 #'s apart and my Buenos are pretty close as well [within 15] and I'm 100% certain that both of these shoes are real. I just purchase a pair of Upper Playground's and everything looks legit [insoles, BBQ detail, lace emblem detail, inside of the box, outside of the box, properly packaged laces], the only eyebrow raise was the that the numbers were 1 # apart on the shoes. I made the guy take about 25 pictures for me so he wasn't afraid of me finding anything.

I'm just curious if on some of the more exclusive shoes [Consortiums, Quinones, etc] if it is not too uncommon to have a pair of shoes with consecutive shoe #'s. It would ease my heart a bit.

PS - Now that I've taken a much closer look at my London's I think they might be fake. Oh well, better my London's than the UP I suppose.

I just found the forum today through an auction on eBay that I was checking out.

I'm so glad I found it! I never knew there was a forum entirely dedicated to Superstars.

I've been collecting Adidas Superstars for about 2 years. I have about 40 pairs in my collection... although it's been a few months since I've made some purchases.

I'm from Los Angeles, California... and even though my name is "King of the Farm" or just "Farmer", I assure you it's only a nickname and that I've never even been on a farm.

Hi - Im looking at getting these adicolor dqm's off the bay. I was in chicago when they dropped and saw them at the adidas store but had already blown all the cash and have been gutted since! I would appriceate it if someone could have a look and tell me if they think they're legit. They look ok to me - the price is not too low and the pics and feedback look ok plus its not like he has tons of pairs. Im not sure if they have even bothered faking these yet anyway. Any opinons welcome. Cheers.
