Can anyone who's got the new Run DMC 80s (the ones that were released a month ago or so) please tell me how they fit?

Is the rubberband the same type as the B.I.T.D. pack? If thought those were slightly too tight and annoying, but maybe they get looser in time? Are they comfortable wearing?

And, just generally speaking, what's the verdict on them? They're obviously a nice Run DMC collectible, but as a superstar? And are they better than the 1986 ones?

I know taste is very individual and it's mainly the fit of the rubber band I'm worried about, but any opinions/help/info is much appreciated

Hey everyone, I bought this pair on eBay a while back. They both lack the heel tags and both the same size. They arrived in the same box, I checked one and it seemed genuine, so I didn't bother giving the other one a look. They're a tad too small for me, and I recently just dug them out of the wardrobe and discovered that one of them looks fake? It just doesn't seem as crisp in detail etc.

Why would the seller do this? Any advice regarding authenticity would be good.

I'm 37 and am Very new to the love of the Adidas Superstar.

A couple of my mates have always loved them but I've recently been sucked in and have been browsing this forum without joining for a couple of weeks. Seems like I'll be browsing quite a lot as my obsession seems to grow each day.

My personal weakness is the Pro Model. I love the retro looking leather ones and the super bright designs.

I live in the French alps most of the time so am hoping to educate the mountains a little in the Superstar sneaks. Music wise I like UK Hip Hop and at the other end of the spectrum very pleasant sounding folk/guitar. Current likes for each end of the spectrum are The Mouse Outfit (UKHH) and Bon Iver & Benjamin Francis Leftwich.

Some of you may remember I bought a pair of ABC Mart's and they ended up being b-grades in the wrong size.

Those fucking French bastards I bought them from screwed me so I ended up with a pair I can't wear. I paid normal price for these plus two times shipping. I returned them but a month later they ended up on my doorstep again because of an unknown address.
