Hi everyone just back from budapest and gave 2 of the originals stores a vist,they were not so much adidas but part franchise i think pretty poor gear just bought a couple of black and gold superstar t-shirts long and short sleeve, by the looks of things old father xmas has been busy. so a month late happy new year to you all.........

Do they only go up to UK Size 10??!

Is it the same with the Bronx ones and Red ones from the same range??! I really really want all 3, but am a size UK size 11.

Any help on where I can get them from if they're available in my size would be much appreciated!

Hi fellas, i cant beleive i found a superstar site, and by accident too. I'm actually glad i'm hear now, i've always loved shelltoes and its all i pretty much wear, didn't realise there was such a dedicated following!!

anyway, i have about 16 pairs+ but have been collecting of late really, interesting to read the information for the fakies etc, i didn't really know, i have had my suspicians (spelling?) about some i've bought, but now i know i really feel a dick!! thanks for the info, and i'll defo be more vigulent when purchasing, i'll post some pics up when i get chance, there mostly in a display cabinet in my hallway, alot of people that come to our house think it's wierd, then think it's cool after actually looking at them!! my current favorites are the Hemp ones.....

So, ive said my hello's and now know that if i'm on the lookout, i know where to come!!!

Several weeks after I signed up (which have included several arguments with a builder and a loss adjuster following a leak) and promised to post this, here's a photo of my collection of Superstars.

At least I suppose it's a collection, if one can call four pairs a collection. My Ultrastars are also included for completeness!

I would like the next addition to be a pair of white superstar 1s in normal leather (the ones that I alreday have are quite a high polish), with white rubber and navy stripes. I don't think they've been in production for quite a while, though and I can't find a pair anywhere in a UK10.

Foot Locker are stocking almost the right pair at the moment, but they have black stripes and I also went hunting for them when I was in Prague before Christmas, but could only find black stripes there (albeit the logo on the tongue was different from the pair in Foot Locker in the UK). With a little luck, I might find a pair in Krakow when I go there just before Easter, if I haven't struck gold before then!

Other than that, there is a nice pair of Brown / Camel coloured Superstar IIs in Schuh at the moment. Doubtless someone will know precisely what they are, but they look like Superstar II TLs, albeit the tongues are quilted.

Thoughts / suggestions are appreciated.

So, was wondering whether anyone had any experience with this company?
How do they fit? Is the quality really good?

Out of respect for the forum and keeping things in there rightful place, thought I would move this out of 'Soops I'm Wearing Today' (paraphrasing), into its own thread.

Obviously, as you can see from this pic, I lace my kicks conventionally (alright, this is an especially crap job) and I tie a bow at the top. It worked for me when I was 5 and it works for me 30 years later.

But, to be honest, I wouldn't mind trying something new. Especially with this pair. So advice? I like the 'parallel' lace look, but don't know how to do it properly.

And what do you do with the lace ends? Tucking them into the shoes seems kinda uncomfortable.
