As you've might have guessed with the title of the thread, and with the strange way i'm trying to write in english, i'm a near twenty year old French student in an engineering school.

I stumbled upon this forum while looking for the famous (I think) adidas adicolor G4 Kermit, and must thank you guys for having prevented me from buying those on a suspect website. By the way, i'm still looking for those shoes, that's why I signed in.

Hi my names Giorgio and im 18. I live in the Channel Islands, more specifically Guernsey. Theres only 60,000 people here and it gets quite boring. Used to live in Manchester and hoping to return there for Uni this September. I haven't got any superstars YET but hoping to make my first purchase ASAP. My cousin used to have the Goofy Adicolors, I was looking for a pair which led me to superstars and this site. Reading through looks like theres loads of good info and sound people.

Anyone recommend a good first pair, I like the look of the NY Adicolor W6's or even the Goofy W4's (not superstars I know). With the latter being $130 I was wondering do you guys wear your superstars? Spending that much money I wouldn't want to ruin them is it possible to keep them looking good for a long time?

Found this website, 6pm.com, which I believe is the "sale" site for zappos, and seems to have a decent selection of Soups for around $41-45, including some Ultrastars. Its a frequently changing selection, so I look weekly for deals (and hope I can find my size). Hope that helps someone.
