I'm looking for some help spotting a potential fake!

I'm new to the site so I'll introduce myself. I'm Andrew, and I'm a Graphic Designer. I can't really say I'm a collector or anything but I like what I like.....

I'm mainly into retro ranges or what I'd consider eye catching & great design or have a place in my heart - What I mean by that is trainers you had as a kid and bring back the good old days, like Reebok Pump for me!

I have pairs of Puma Disc Blaze - Tetris Pack, Reebok Pump Omni Lite and Nike Air Max 95 are my more notable kicks but own a couple of pairs of Nike Rifts, Dunlop Green Flash some classic Gola Racerunner as well as some Forest Hills and some Stan Smiths.

I recently came across the Adicolor BL4 Tron!!!!!! and I instantly fell in love with them and had to have a pair! Only being 25000 I found it hard to come by a genuine pair online.

I bought these from ebay a couple of days ago. I only caught the auction in the last hour so couldn't ask for better images or anything so I just went for it. I ended up winning the auction for only £10.50!!! The seller had not created a very good listing on ebay and put them in the wrong category with no specific information so no one hardly found them. The seller doesn't have a history of selling trainers or fake items. They were not shipped from China or anywhere and came from the UK. Here's the listing number on ebay.co.uk 250292076916

Nearly everything looks fine to me! The box looks genuine, heavy cardboard - not damaged at all in transit. Labels on the box seem to check out...I think! Came with Tron wrapping paper inside the box too.

The trainers look good, tags seem to be good and located through the the top strap face inside. The serial numbers are both different on the tongues but there are a couple of things that make me think they may be fake and this is maily the quality of the finish. The red stitching on the velcro straps is not 100% straight going round the edges and the blue velcro itself seems to be cut sloppy.

Today I saw the Trons in a store but not in my size, went and had a look and they looked similar to mine. Slightly off stitching and wonky velcro.

Am I being over critical or have I got a fake? Can you help please!!!

I have been toying with the Idea of getting a tattoo lately but couldn`t think what to get

I am now thinking of getting a pair of superstars with the superstar logo on my chest

Has anyone got any cool pics that I could use or has anyone got a tattoo done already ?

i'm known as deadpres on the net, and r.j. in reality.. so yall can call me whatever you damn well please. i'm from new york, specifically long island (shoutouts to all my u.s. peeps out there and double shout outs to my 5 borough peeps (manhattan/bronx/brooklyn/bronx/queens)). i've been somewhat of a sneakerhead for the majority of my life, mainly peepin the nike side of the game.. air max 90's and dunks of all types. i've recently been turned to adidas superstars for a few main reasons: they're unique and oldschool in style and not as mainstream as my previous shoe addictions. alright, ima cut myself short here: i aim to take from this forum what i put in and hope to meet others who share the same addiction(s). aiight, so keep it real and expect to see me around these forums. *it's about time to pick up those shells that "she sells by the seashore"
