are there any hints of spotting fake yoda's?? was the jedi model even faked at all?

maharishi snow pants for 65quid makes him suspicious again.

I found a pair of superstars on sale but i didn't have any money on me and the place is far from me. I haven't found them anywhere since. They were £125, does anybody know a good site or shop that sells realy new and rare superstars as i can't really describe them

S'happnin people?
I'm Shellshock and as the thread title says, I'm a Nottingham (UK) lad. I'm now 38 going on 15 and got my first pair of Soops way back in '87 after pestering my dad to bring me a pair back from Germany when he went on business trips but I only started actually collecting them about a year ago. Prior to that I would rinse them to death then bin em! Man, if I'd saved every pair I'd owned over the last 21 years I'd be sitting pretty right now Sad

I currently own 16 pairs of Soops amongst approx 40 pairs of trainers in total but I've been buying strictly Soops since I stumbled across this place whilst searching for trainer customisation tips. I used to be a fairly competent and prolific writer around Nottz in the 80's and early 90's but I haven't been doing anything artistic for years now. I was recently inspired by an old mate to get going again but I decided customising kicks may be the way forward for me now, far too old to be out in the middle of the night bombing and getting up Razz

I'll post up some pictures of my collection soon but don't hold your breath because
a) I'm shit at computers and this whole interwebz malarky
b) After seeing some of the collections on here, mine seems lame!

So far, I've stuck to "shop-bought" Soops for my collection as I love the whole old Skool vibe of going out hunting in shops and finding trainers, always thought getting them online was cheating slightly but after seeing what I'm missing out on, sod that!! There's some absolute beautiful trainers out there in Cyberworld and I needs to get me some!

When I'm not thinking about Soops here, in no particular order, are some of the other things I'm into: All the elements of Hip Hop culture, smokin mad izms, playing console games, smokin mad izms, music, cars, particularly Dubs (both air & water-cooled) sports such as BMX, Mountain biking & Skating, did I mention smoking mad izms? contemporary graphic design and art, gettin wrecked & partying, tattoos, Dogs, particularly English Bull Terriers, guurlz, films..err..and that's pretty much it really!

Anyway, I'll stop typing now as I'm going on a bit! Razz
See ya around folks, let me know if there's any other Nottz heads up in here.

HI I JUST WANTED YOUR TAKE ON THIS. I PURCHASED A PAIR OF NEW YORK'S FROM EBAY THAT LOOKED GOOD IN THE PICTURES WHEN THEY TURNED UP THEY HAVE ALL THE SIGNS OF BEING FAKE (I HAVE A REAL PAIR AS WELL BUT THEY HAVE SEEN BETTER DAYS) SO I KNOW WHAT I'M LOOKING AT. TOLD THE SELLER THAT THEY ARE FAKE AND HE SAID-

"hi there, the suprestar 35 city series have been released twice, adidas remade the city series after the first time everything sold out. the tag were different. and even the first release, the box tag was diff base on the place you got them ( new york, tokyo). you can check about it.or if you really dun believe me, you can ship it back to me,and once I receive it, I will refund you the money you paid. let me know. thank you"

I SMELL BULLSHIT I THROUGHT THE RELEASE DATE WAS 2005 AND LIMITED. AM I WRONG? I'LL STICK SOME PHOTOS OF BOTH PAIRS UP TOMORROW. THANKS FOR ANY HELP. BEAK.Sad
