My name's kev and live in UK.
I'm at school atm and gotta do GCSE's in the summer which will determine my life so yeah worried about that lol.
Every year since 99' Iv'e had a new pair of SS, Ive got 3 pairs of white and black SS, 1 pair of white/black with hologram, 2 pairs of adicolour (Y6(black and yellow) and BK6 (new york)), 1 35th (run dmc) and the rest are stan smith (not strictly SS but still 3 stripes)

I hope to fit in well here and maybe broaden my collection.

But the number of people that are interested enough in Adidas Superstars to actually bother to join a forum like this one has got to be limited.
I can't imagine there are more than 600 hundred, maximum 1000 people in the world who properly give a shit.
Well I reckon we've got everyone who gives a shit and fancies talking about it.

well as you can see these soops are a little dated, sported with a hologram on the back they were a nice pair. Many adventures later they are in this state, which im not too proud of : /

So could somebody answer my question, do I buy the same pair again or do I buy another pair like adicolour Y6, which I was thinking of.

I got given these soops from a 6th former 2 years ago, just found them again but they a little bit small and dirty.
You cant see this on the picture but the back bit is a hologram (the adidas logo spirals round when you move it).
Could somebody tell me where I could buy an exact pair?

hey i'm roman from australia. i didn't know a place for superstar obsessives existed, i thought it was all about nike, lad to know i'm not alot hah. ok so i became obsessed with adidas originals in 1999, more specifically, black originals with white soles and stripes. sorry to say my obsession was sparked by the drummer from the metal band Slipknot, who i saw sporting a pair of black superstar (2's i THINK, due to the thicker white tongue) with a white sole and toe. this is where my story gets heartbreaking, i was only 12 years old at the time when i actually found the black/white ones in stores in my exact size, the last pair. my mum didn't let me get them and i thought i'd never find them again after literally calling every adidas stockist in my state.

5 years later i walked into an english brand clothing store and to my amazment found the same shoe, same size that i needed this time round, and again the last pair. i didn't have my wallet with me so i went back 2 days later... well... by then the store was converted into a Wheels and Dollbaby store.

i have since obtained a pair of superstar 2's in black/white with white sole and toe, but i am led to believe they are fakes (i'll post about that later).

anyway... i am still looking for a legit pair of black/white with white sole and toe superstars 2s, although i don't even know if thats possible
