Am I correct in thinking this site was born on 28th Sept 2005? (Even though Oli's first post says it was back in 2000 - Ten year anniversary?)

As a present I can get 2 canvas pictures (40 x 40 cm) and I want something that has to do with Supes on them. The paintings will be in my office next to my collection. I want to keep it simple though. I took some pictures and played with Photoshop for a while and came up with this:



I kinda like them both but they somehow don't fit together. What do you think?

Now the strange thing is one of my mates bought a pair of superstars way back when and I ripped it out of him - didn't like the shell toe thing in any way shape or form. I hang my head in shame....

Then I popped my soop cherry about 6 months ago and bought the simple white with black stripe pair and I had an epiphany. Now I'm hooked

Now own 6 pairs and a pair of Supermods (am I allowed to admit that?)

To be honest I'm a bit fussy with what I like so I'll never hit the numbers of pairs that some folk have on here (and boy some of you guys have an obscene amount), but I'll have a steady collection.

i found some nice shoes from a swedish based seller (via kicksxchange). so far, so good. but he want 36 € shipping for 2 pairs (29 € for one).

is shipping from northern europe to central europe THIS expensive?!

need to do a comparison with pictures ive got of some... would put my mind at ease.

tags match up fine, but some of the build quality to me doesnt seem to dandy. if anyone could provide me with some pics of the heels of the shoe, a top view so i can see the print on insoles, and just views of the sides...greatly appreciated!

I'm a collector of all fashion.

I have a black with red stripe leather adidas superstar tracksuit for sale.

As far as I know they only made 50 of them and I've seen them on Pharrel and Roots Manuva in Magazines. In fact I think Roots wore his on the Mercury Awards when he was nominated.

I am keen to sell for a good price. I have the original tag that came with it and can provide photo's - doing them over the next few days - if anyone is interested in finding out more.

It cost £800 in 2003 when I brought it and apparently they have held their value - though I've yet to find anyone else selling one...

im nidge im 45 and here in salford/uk im a huge fan of all adidas and of course the superstar i currently have 8 pairs some not worn as i have a habit of buying trainers then deciding there to good to wear! although saying that iv just started to wear a pair of superstars i picked up in vegas a few years ago well you cant take em with you when you go can ya (well maybe one pair ) so what the hell. my biggest regret was not getting myself a pair of the ian brown 35th edition but heh never say never. looking forward to gettin to know you all and hopefully picking up some no doubt valuable advice on the superstars .
