What an epic finish to the games with the hockey showdown right?!
But more importantly, which country had the coolest gear? Russia with those sweet tracksuits? Canada with those awesome moose pattern closing ceremony grandpa sweaters! USA with the country boy snow boarding jackets? What say you?

In my 25 pair Adidas collection I've got the new absolutely beautiful Skywalker, some Campus 80's, a bunch of Stan Smiths (Vintage and 80's), the famous argie blue Trimm Trab, a couple of Sambas and a pair of Gazelles and Matchplay, but this is The Superstar Database so here's my precious Superstar 80's!

Hi all

ok, so I have to introduce myself... hmm.. what is there to tell?

I live in Basel, Switzerland and work as a (computer) programmer and analyst in an insurance company.

I bought my first pair of superstars at the age of 19/20, so it's more than 14years ago and I still love these pair the most. They're black and have silver stripes. After that I bought several other sneakers but 3 years ago I bought some other superstars and think they're the most comfortable sneakers. I now have 8 pairs and a ton of other sneakers at home.

hmmm... guess that's it (for now)

cheers
basel75

btw. my english's not the best but i try....

I bought a pair of supes from a UK based eBayer, After winning the auction he told me that his paypal was down and if I was able to pay him with a banktransfer. I told him that this was no problem if he gave me his IBAN, BIC and his address. The only problem is that this fella still lives in 1990 and doesn't know what IBAN and BIC is. He gave me his bankaccountnumber but I can't pay him with this from the Netherlands...

So my question is if any of the UK members is prepared to arrange this transaction for me with a banktransfer? I will pay you first via paypal offcourse.

Hi all,
I introduced myself the other day (it didn't go down too well as a 'noob' who doesn't actually have any sup's (yet)

I signed up as I think that some of you may be able to help me (please don't kjust say that as they aren't sup's they aren't worth having lol) or if not point me in the direction of a place that can.
I have been on 'spot fake adidas' etc & will email them about these.

I purchased these from ebay last week, they are the 'awaydays' colourway ones, they are the 2005 re-issue, however as I've read about shell-toes.com I feel these may have come from there.

Things I've noticed,
The tissue paper inside is plain!
They are made in Indonsesia & the label inside the tongue is stitched on. The labels on my others aren't stitched on & they aren't made there.
The leather feels soft, my other Forest Hills & they aren't as soft.
The soles have red on them where the two small holes are (but my others have a different colour to the sole too)
They were laced like that from the box. I've not touched them.

They sell for over £100 usually on there. I paid £60 in an auction, they were listed as part of the sellers collection, he said they were the 2005 re-issue ones.

I'm just not 100% sure on them, if you can help I'd be gratefulCool
Some pics have the flash on, some don't as the flash was too bright on some of the pics, so they didn't come out that wellSad

Thanks in advance. I can sort bigger/better pics if need be.

Hey guys,

I took some time to put most of my Superstars in my tent. About 10 pairs were too dirty, old or at somewhere else, but this is most of my collection:
