Hi everyone, as some of you may remember i lost a close family member to cancer recently, i guess cancer affects most of us at some point, so i am on a fund raising mission to help people who suffer from this terrible disease, starting with the Jane Tomlinson Leeds 10k next sunday July 4th 2010, thanks for looking and any donation large or small will be greatfully received and will make a difference.

In loving memory of Aliesha Boddie

So I've been looking for these for a bit now with no luck, and my guess is they're long gone and I completely missed the boat. I was wondering if anyone knew of one of those obscure websites that might have a pair of these hanging around in a UK12? Picture included below.

These:

Not these:

Any help is very appreciated!

Hows it going every one?
My name is Jace and im from Australia and i live in a small town called Batemans Bay.
Ive always wanted a pair of superstars but they do not exist where I live and the only way I can get them is off the net or a few hours drive to the city.
Over here they generaly reatail for $160 AUD.
Anyway, Ive signed up for two reasons;

1) I love the superstars! but.... havnt broke my shell toe virginity yet
unless you count the fakeys from thailand : (

and 2 im in need of some help.

I was looking at the superstars 2, and ive come across the new superstars 2.5 but I cant find them on any of the adidas websites.

The only way to get a hold of them is off the net but the sites that have them look dodgy as (and yes adidas-london can die).

Can anyone help?

Hey everybody,

I was born in Alaska, grew up in Seattle, WA, rocked my college years in the Bay Area (Oakland / Berkeley / SF) of Northern California, and I'm now based in Berlin, Germany. I can't quite remember when I became obsessed with supes (and adidas Originals in general) but I know I've had the jones for quite a long time. I love hip hop and actively participate in 2 of the 4 elements, one of which is dancing. Instead of breakin' though, I rock a newer style called TURF (or Turfin') that came out of Oakland. If you've never heard of it then check out the wikipedia article and peep some of the Oakland dancers on YouTube. Basically it focuses a lot of toe balance and for this the adidas Superstar is by far the most superior shoe. Not the only reason I rock a supe but still a reinforcement of the utility of the shoe.

I got my first pair of supes nearly by accident, stumbled on a used pair of the Berlin 35th Anniversary superstars (seriously a lucky find) only a day before I was flying out to Berlin for the first time ever (a weird coincidence right?). At that time I wasn't so aware of the 35th Anniversary collection and had no idea what I'd found. Today I look at it as my lucky start. Since then I've piled up about 20 to 30 adidas Originals kicks in my collection, but sadly only 4 of these are supes at the moment. I'm looking to change that everyday by keepin' my eyes peeled for rare ones and deals out there...

I feel honored to join a community like this. Thanks for setting the site up and inviting strangers (like me) in.

I'm not sure if this is good idea, but here goes anyway. I started to gather some music that you guys been posting on Today I'm listening to thread in my own Spotify. Then I realized that I can share it with you and what's best you can add your favorites or what ever you are listening ATM and think that others should also listen.
So far there's only hiphop and rap, and yes it has a tacky name.
If you guys like this I can create another list for other genres as well.
Anyway here's the link (you know what to do with XX):

Wow when I read this on Hypebeast, I thought this is so fresh for the sneaker community! Apparently its coming under the JD Sports brand - whatever that means Confused
July 2010 a retail shop should be opening...hit up the website
footpatrol.co.uk (something like that) for updates along the way! Considering some shops closing these past few yrs i.e. Goodfoot, Provider, etc, this is welcome news! Chuffed to say the least...hopefully JD handles it proper...
