Hi, my name is James, being 47 I feel old but having just brought a pair of IloveNY 35th superstars I feel a bit younger. Â I have never really been into the 'sneaker' scene but having brought the wife a few pairs from eBay this month I have seen the light. Â I can't see me buying new but the idea of picking up pairs, restoring, customising them seems quite a nice way to spend some free time. Â Hence the purchase of the ILoveNY pair (just love the simple design and NY apple). Â I have kids, wife and a dog who like the idea that I will be getting them new shoes (apart from the dog!). Â I look forward to reading your posts, I will no doubt ask questions....

I bought it from my friend, the condition is not so good, and the label tag on the inside tongue right and left already gone, due to intens wearing,

when they came though I was expecting on the side of the trainer do have the 'superstars' line and they weren't there, is this just cause of a different version of superstar? I've never had a pair before haha. the serial numbers in each trainer is the same also, which I'm believed to think is a sign of them being fake?
any help would be appreciated

What are people using to upload images? I have been using Imgur but for some reason, it doesn't seem to give me the option of scaling down images for forums. It used to!!
