Happy Birthday Tom!

Hi I am a 31 year old male from the United States. Kansas to be exact. I like the superstar brand of shoes because they are extremely comfortable and seem to fit my foot perfectly. I am very physically active so shoes are important. I got introduced to the superstars line of shoes about one year ago with a pair I bought off of Ebay. I was very sad to find it was going to be difficult to replace that style but I am not giving up yet. I hope to find the answer to a question I posted in custom forum. Pleased to meet you all.

I am looking for an adidas superstar with (preferrably a suede upper) that has smoother insoles like those in the adidas samba classics for example. This is the exact shoe I am trying to replace http://www.sendegiral.com/ADIDAS-urun-Ko...22376.html

Its a turkish website. I assume they are out of production. They are art no 010197.

I just bought a pair of black superstar 2 from Dr. Jays and I noticed the insole was rougher and probably the stock insole.

What I am hoping is that some member here will have a pair of superstars with the type of smoother insole found in the sambas and would be able to provide me a picture or even better a sku #, so that I can order them online.

I hope I have come to the right place.

Hello everyone, my name is Sebastian from Singapore. I'm so glad to come across a website/forum all about adidas only!!

My very first pair of adidas was Ultrastar (if anyone recalls. They were still made in Taiwan!) back in 1994-95. My interest in shelltoes grew when adidas release the Jam Master Jay superstar. To me, that pair was the BEST adidas I ever seen in my life! Though I was still young, couldn't afford a reseller price, that doesn't stop me from getting until much later when I started working.

I will try to post some pics of my small collections.... till then keep this forum alive

Good morning all
A question for all the UK heads. How much should it realistically cost to send a pair of trainers to Melbourne? I have been qouted 27 quid which sounds like alot. I should add that this is a private transaction as opposed to a commercial one.
