hello everyone I recently purchased a pair of adidas superstars off of eBay and was curious to know/check to see if they were really authentic, I bought them from a seller known as "shoemerica". I did some research and tried to figure out if they were real or not, I think they are but I'm still conflicted, I checked the serial numbers on the inside and each were different per shoe, which I believe is a good sign. All help is appreciated thank you.

HI. Since my English is not very good.  Ill keep it simple

Looking for a specific type of superstar 2g.  I don't know the name of them. Can anyone help me?

Came out late 1990s maybe 2000s
They look very similiar.  Biggest difference.  No rubber toes.  They had leather with air holes.
The over all quality was better. Support and stiching.  Price was higher also.
They might of had yellow torsion system
Any other info would be very much appreciated.

I recently shot pics of this pair of superstars on behalf of a consortium of collectors, all of which are members past or present here (Though it is by no means a closed shop). We came together quickly to secure this pair, literally with minutes to secure them. But the idea was that as genuine supe heads united, we have a greater purchasing power and that the shoes that fascinate us should be in our hands, to restore, document, exhibit and cherish. We will catalogue the shoes we acquire so there are quality images for reference. The adidas-archive.org has pics of this pair but the shoes are a little ropey and the resolution sucks. We all have our grails, but for me this was special. Hope you like..

Hi to All.

Im Chad Ceaser, my user name stems from my love of VAG cars. I’m not a collector of Superstars nor do I consider myself a “sneakerhead”

Im from a small place, far south…. Cape Town South Africa… Wonder if there any other South Africans here.

My love for Stars or as I seen on here its referred to Supes. Well story time. I was 16 (year 2002), saw a pair of Superstars – Black with yellow stripes. And I really loved the look of the pair. I didn't know what they were nor the history or heritage behind them, all I knew was I wanted them. So it took me close to 3 months of doing everything possible to earn money in order to buy me the pair. I thrashed them through skateboarding, soccer(or football, which ever word your prefer). And when they became a hot product in South Africa mine was messed. And ever since I been loving them. I started buying again when I started “adult-ing”. I don't have many pairs as other sneakers has caught my interest.

Im a Garbage Collector by... Nah Im not really but I feel like I am at the best of times, Im a Vessel Agent.

I spent a pretty penny on my Superstars so I wanna keep them nice looking. What's the best way to keep them clean and white? Does Never Wet work well on them?

I found these on Ebay and I was going to buy them since they're very hard to find and sold out everywhere, but I wanted to make sure they were authentic before I do. Sorry if these pictures aren't a lot to go by, but thanks in advance!
