Yes, Rob the fussy bugger is back. I think I already posted this once but I couldn't find the old thread. Today I cleaned some vins I sold and I noticed some serious cracking on the shell. I saw this before on a pair of 80's before but never on any other pair. Untill now.



I checked out some others supes and a lot of my supes have this 'problem'. Mostly vins, 80's and an occasional SS2. Surprisingly my older supes from around 2000 don't have this at all.

You guys know I have a setup where a lot of my supes are displayed on my wall. My curtains are always closed so the sunlight never hits the supes. But still I noticed some yellowing on the white shells. And now I discovered the cracking so I'm thinking about storing all my supes in boxes again.

I was wondering if any of you ever noticed this kind of cracks on your supes? Is there a way to prevent it?

Hope you're all alright, My Name is Al and would like to be part of the forum, I am a huge superstar and adidas fan, I wear and collect exclusively shell toes and wear a lot of adidas clothing too and have quite a lot of adidas track tops and hoodys as well as a few superstars, This is my stack and my adidas tops:



I also have a collection of new era fitteds and over the years have spend a lot of time and money on New Era, I don't know if there are any members on here who like caps as well? I am very satisified with my hats collection so I haven't added to it this year leaving some to spend more time looking for supes i want, I also have a small collection of G shocks that i love, which I just add to when i come accross something i like, I think that when i really like something i just want it in every nice colourway i can find, here are the caps and watches,



I have browsed the forum before and particularly have enjoyed looking through the members collections, and whenever I have enough time plan to take pics of mine because i'm sure there are people on here who like looking and superstars as much as i do. A few of my favourite pairs are the G5s, BBQs, NBA Lux Gill Arenas, Austrailias and the Dallas Mavericks NBAs, and a few pairs that i would really like to have are Andy Warhols, patchwork vins, Methodmans, Pochoirs and Naughty or Nice, My first pair was Black with white stripes and my latest were the camo vins, I am a size 9, I don't ever like to pay a huge amount for any of my trainers so spend time looking for bargains. I love BBoy laces - think they are outstanding, and also love looking through shellpros and eatmoreshoes!

I live in Peterborough, work in retail, listen to hip hop and do a lot of running - sorted!

I have a pair of UK 9.5 1986 RUN DMC's that I am looking to trade up by half a size. You know how it is with the 80's fit, for once these bastards run true to size!!!
They are in 9.95/10 condition, been worn twice by me and probably the same by Nik prior to me grabbing them from him.
Will also consider trades for something or other to the equivalent standard.
