Righty Ho folks!
I've got to go to Ikea at some point this week, but don't wish to have an entirely fruitless journey, & want to combine it with looking for some adidas, can anyone give me suggestions whether it will be good to combine this trip from hell with the chance of buying something good, by advising me of nearby shops.

I thought i'd update with a funny thing happening on my attempts to get hold of some RHCP Supes, as i've mentioned in my "Hello" post.

Well, as any person, pining for some good superstars that you simply can't get hold of, your mother eventually learns of your woes.

Well, mine did - Apart from her saying shoes are a waste of money if they're over £10 - she did feel sorry for me and thats all I thought of it!
But! She went one step further and must have said something about it to my auntie. Joy! My auntie could possibly be the greatest most generous person I know, love her to bits. Anyhow, after learning of my woes my auntie decided she would use a "new thing" she found out about to try and get me a pair of said supes! - Oh the poor lady thought she had hit the jackpot when she noticed she had a choice of about 10 different pairs, thinking how on earth I couldn't find them?? - So she bought some and I am now awaiting some RHCP's in the post.

So... what is this "new thing" my auntie has found!? - Oh... Ebay...
You can guess I was quite excited until my mum mentioned she had got them from ebay. She has just discovered ebay.

I'm not getting my hopes up - she said she paid about £30 for them.
Looks like an ebay dispute is on the cards for my auntie. Who knows what the chances are of her getting her money back would be?

Anyhow, when I get them i'll certainly check them out, I know they'll most likely be fake, but i'll upload a pic of 2 and see how bad they look to you guys Make your eyes bleed maybe? I'll send tissues to anyone needing some. hehe

I've been looking around the 'net for a pair of Limited Edition Red Hot Chilli Pepper Superstars.. in my size... which is where the problems tend to start..

see, I'm a rather large sized 12,13 or even 14 depending on the manufacturer and often find that a 12 in a certain brand is ill-fitting compared to a 12 in another. So with my Adidas (which tend to be incredibly small and narrow) I would tend to need a 13 or 12 that I squeeze into, with some discomfort, oh the pains of being a footwear freak.

I'm not exactly sure where this site is based, but do see a lot of European and moreover, English posters on here, which is encouraging because importing footwear in tends to be a headache (in my experience.)

Um. I own about 45 pairs of footwear and about ten pairs of Adidas in that. Most have never been worn other than to try them on, but will one day see the light of day, I promise them that much

Bought a pair of superstar Chicago Bulls off of MrShoeShotta and also have a pair of adicolor Dark Horses, which I love to bits and take out of the box from time to time simply to gaze at.

I am really into the Superstars and can see myself purchasing 10-15 pairs of them over the next year (shoe size availability permitting)

I'm here to learn and educate myself in the ways of the Shoe-Force, and will be reading in on as many threads as possible, especially on how to spot not-so-obvious fakes as that's alarming to my naive eyes.

well, I've done and fk'd myself good this time: those white and blue snake skin consortium soops that i didn't bother buying from moe's because i knew livestock would be getting them...

aren't coming to livestock. fking hell. and now moe's only has US13...

if anyone spots a US12, i'd be much obliged.

otherwise I'll just be over in the corner, beating my head in with a brick.
