I have a pair of UK12 superstar 1's i got CHEAP from an outlet store.. And i knew they were perfect for customising, so i left them in a box, at the bottom of my pile..

I had a phone call from ghettro (adam) and he wanted a favor for a favor kinda thing..

I'm sending them off and he mentioned totally rebuilding the shoe with two different colours of leather, and extra padding to make the UK12 a bit smaller (im a uk11.5 really)

I will keep you updated as and when they arrive!

Star Wars geek (hence the name) and Superstar aficionado hailing from Texas (currently far north Fort Worth). I'm a graphic designer/production artist by trade. I recently got married, wearing a pair of white/choc/gum Superstars (the Foot Locker in store only ones).

I've currently only have a couple of pair of shells in the closet, but there are plans to start expanding again.

Hey guys whats up, the name is Korea and I live in Omaha, Nebraska. I've been wearing superstars ever since I found a pair at a basketball tournament in 7th grade. That brings the total up to around 17ish owned but most were the standard white with black/red/blue stripes. Here are my latest pairs that I've owned and I wear them all weekly.

Lets start with my oldest, this was the first shelltoe that I got that wasn't white with black/red/blue stripes. Its retired now but it was a good shoe. I'm keeping all of my old superstars from here on out.



Here is a pair I picked up at journey's its weaved hemp in a camo pattern



Here are the two pairs I picked up from the finish line, for some reason I haven't worn both red shoes yet, I either wear the blues or one blue one red.

I have a hypothetical question of sorts for everybody. Im not on either side of the fence mind you but I was wondering if anybody on here thinks they will ever reach a point where they say enough is enough and stop collecting Soops. I was looking at my collection the other day and after trimming my collection down from 50 down to about 36 (Im goin for quality over quantity now) I realized that Im pretty happy with what I have. The problem that I know with the help of ebay that those hard to find elusive pairs will pop up eventually and I will have to snatch them up and the collection will grow once more. I know more people than not see our type of collections as kinda nuts but I just tell them im no different than a person that collects sports card or sports memorabillia, we are just able to show off our collections in the real world everyday! Thats logic works for Me, Im just worried that one day ill wake up under a pile of 200 soops and wonder how the fck I got there! Sorry if this seems disorganized or doesnt make sense, (im not good at putting thoughts down into words) I just wanted to see what some other like minded people might have to say!

The shops open finally, so what does everyone think? Worth the wait?

Personally I can't see there is much difference just less superstars (7 by my reckoning, though they do have the blue 80's). To be honest I think its a bit shite!!

However there are a couple of decent tees and tops.
