Just to dispel any fake suggestions, this was a proper Adidas shop.

They had 2 more in stock and the sales guy had a pair on, according to some ebay listings there where only 300 made so i find it a bit off that 3 of them (or more) ended up on this tiny island!

I'm 32 and live in Newcastle, in the north east of England). Got my first pair of shell toe's in the 80's around the same time as my raleigh striker lol! Oddly I never really bothered with trainers in the 90's but since I spotted and bought a pair of W5 superstars about ten years ago I've looked out for them ever since. Wouldn't describe myself as a massive follower of hip-hop, but I'm still a fan of the music/fashion/style - possibly why I love superstars so much - then again it could just be for nostalgic reasons or the fact that they're just fu**in great!
