Hi all, new on here and don't claim to be any kind of expert!

I've ordered some white/gold colourway Forest Hills 81 from an online retailer called Shelltoes.com and after doing a bit of digging around I'm getting a bit concerned that these shoes aren't going to be the real deal (if they arrive at all if you read some of the postings I've found.....).

I'm in the UK and this was THE colourway to own during the 80's "casual" era over here. I've not seen them on sale anywhere else, and I don't think Adidas have released them as part of the recent Originals reissue in that colourway.

Anyone got any feedback on this firm amd these shoes? Thanks in advance and apologies for any inaccuracies, as I say I'm no expert on such matters!

hey, have been an avid reader of superstardb for a couple of years, but never thought to post...

bought my first pair of superstars around 10 years ago, pure accident, they were cheap and i just needed some trainers to take on holiday-and, like a lot of people on here i guess, the obsession began..

reckon i own about 40 pairs now, most of them still mint in the box, which my friends think is weird, but you can't beat a pair of boxfresh superstars...!!

have done the whole, driving round every footlocker i can, looking for new stuff-think my favourite pair i've bought are g6 staten islands, i have a pair i have worn to death and another two, which seem to be getting rarer..pride and joy is a pair of boxed super ape star, which i wasn't totally convinced were genuine until i read a great fake guide on here-paid £150 for them about two years ago (on ebay-don't judge me!!!) but, i doubt i'd ever want to sell them,so if they are fake, such is life!!

my big ambition is to get my hands on a Bill McMullen Ad-At-pure genius...

kind of hard to find time to read all the posts on here, so i'll throw it out there-i'm 38, is that too old to collect supes?!?

I have been after these for a while and have been considering dropping the $$$ for a pair. I only have one other pair of the 35th's... The #35.

Out of all the pretty colors, materials and different series, I have only ever considered dropping more dough on the 35th Anniversary #1 Adi Dassler's.

These look legit to me, but I am not as sharp as some of our other members, here:

Wasn't aware of the site till a mate on RADBMX an old school bmx forum told me about it. Been reading through loads of threads and looking at the pics of some great soops for the last week and now have some time to join in.

Name is Marc, 40, BP Auditor and live in Scotland. I've been a sneakerholic on and off since I was about 15, and old enough to buy my own kicks. I got back into BMX racing in 2006 and it has been getting in the way of my superstar purchasing and gazing since!!!!!

I have about 40 pairs of sneaks the majority superstars and other adidas models, also have a few nikes and vans, but lets ignore them. lol

Haven't purchased any soops for a couple of years as BMX bikes and parts had taken over my life. So hopefully joining here will rekindle my passion for quality shells.

Afternoon ladies and gents. I am looking to replace my G5's that I wrecked last weekend I was wondering if anyone knew of a deadstock pair in a UK size 8 going anywhere?

I know there's a pair on the US ebay, but after postage its looking like its gonna be around £130, which is a little bit too much.

I have one pair of Adidas Superstar II - the Original Games - Beijing Olympic Edition. I bought them from eBay purely because I liked them and because I love the Olympics. I can't decide whether to wear them or to keep them. I'm not sure if they'd ever be rare. I'm glad I've found this forum as I didn't realise there were so many fakes around. I'll post some pics of my Superstars later and hopefully someone can tell me if they're the real deal.

And so to my reason for joining...I want to collect the whole Adidas Superstar 35th Anniversary collection, preferably in my size (UK Eight). This may be an impossible task! I saw No. 14 Upper Playground in a local shop about a year ago and didn't realise at the time how rare they were. I wish I'd bought them! There is one pair going on pickyourshoes.com in my size and believe this is a genuine site.
