I'm so glad I didn't make the trip down for these. I heard this kind of info from people yesterday so decided against it. 22 pairs! That's a fookin joke, I could accept 1 or 2 pairs being put aside for staff maybe but 18 pairs!!!! They should be charged with looting along with the rest of the vermin. I feel for you Al, hope you made your feelings known fella.

Regarding the No6 quantity 40 that came from me. I had a meeting with someone that works there awhile back and that was the figure quoted, just checked my notes. Now even that small amount could have been adjusted up or down or a few set aside who knows.
Not too sure how they would police it either even though i understand it could be annoying as hell to queue and come away with nothing.

I guess it was always on the cards after the same thing happened at No.74 in Berlin..but 22 pairs outta 40 is taking the piss..
But saying that if you'd shopped at No.6 for afew yrs and blown countless £££'s over the years and where a good customer you maybe deserve a pair to be put aside too.
I'm with Wildone so glad i didn't travel down and waste £90 on train tickets for nothing.
Hope you get lucky with a pair via the bay if nothing else Al (not for silly money either)

That shoe was just a Hype shoe nothing else. Now if adidas want to drum up some noise with limited drops people camping outside stores that's the way to do it. Lets face it they have nearly killed the SS with wack colabs, crazy CWs etc. PUMA are trying something different in regards to the people they have brought in to do the CWs later this month will be interesting to see the response.

I was told 40 pairs too Errol, actually, I was told slightly over.
Knew it was all going to shit about 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon when there was 7 people in the queue and I was told if I got there quickly I MIGHT have a chance of getting a pair.
Guessed they had 15 pairs left and wasn't far wrong.
Was told by a reputable source that they had 26 pairs left at 10.15 last night so head office taking pairs is bollocks if you counted out 22 pairs Al.
I have no doubt in my mind that a certain person was letting them go under the counter.
People keep saying how much of a nice guy he is, yeah, maybe, face to face.
I just wonder how much money was taken in back-handers to people who wanted to buy their way out of queueing.
I'm done with it.
