Anyone Ride? (Cycle)
#16

OOh, my kinda thread! I used to ride loads, raced BMX and mountain bikes, and a little bit of road (not very successfully) I moved house last year and now live on the edge of some woods with a load of good trails, a few downhill runs and some sweet jump spots. I spent a lot of time up there in the summer on this beast

I've got various other bikes and bits of bikes all over the place. Along with supes and graff, bikes are my other big love.

The more observant of you will see that the bike doesn't have a chain on in this pic, I was cleaning it! Cool

Aye, its a good ride. They were racing this bike at World Cup level a few years back. It's got fully adjustable everything, 6-9" of travel on the rear wheel, adjustable headtube angle, seatube angle and bottom bracket height, a carbon fibre subframe (the bit with the stars on it that's holding the seat to the frame) It's pretty much a scaled down motocross bike minus the engine.

It's not an actual off the peg bike but you could probably pick one up with a similar spec in reasonable condition now for about £600-650 as it's a few years old now but brand new it was a shade under 3 large ones.

Serious bike there SS! I've not had a bike for years. I did used to have a raleigh of some description (I think it was an old raleigh grifter) when I was a kid, it was blue and white and awesome. Then I outgrew it and never had another bike againSad

Nah I know fuck all about bikes, never bothered since I was a bairn. Besides my balance is bad enough when walking, christ knows what it'd be like on a bike!

That is sweet Mr.P, I used to have a P.K Ripper back in the day, SE bikes rule. I'm gonna try and get a 24" cruiser built up as my local track is hosting a "fat old fuckers" race series this summer which a couple of us are thinking of entering. It won't be as nice as yours though, love that old school geometry of the q'angle

My work transport, about 4.5 miles each way. Had a real bad run of punctures lately, 3 in a 2 weeks.

Fixie's look very cool!!
