Hey guys,

just getting into the whole Fixie phenomenon thats huge in Aus, nearly everyone is making there own fixie! Ive got a road bike, but that hasnt got any use over the past year so i must get back into that! but would rather build something instead.

so ive decided to start my own build!

anyone into this sort of thing? if not ill just delete this thread haha

I got a Fuji Nevada which is in the storage room covered in dust lol
use to go for city to beach rides early sunday mornings when I was younger and fitter

eventually I'll strip it down, get it powdercoated matte black and rebuild it and ride again

I have a 21sp mountain bike sold to me by a moody copper at the back of a pub. Wink

I use it and my odometer to mark out the miles when I go running. I love my bike. Very Happy

That's a fantastic looking bike BTW, Niko.

OldyGregg - did you have a Raleigh Burner?

fc should really use his bike more.

That's one crazy looking bicycle you got there. Looks like the ones they ride round the velodromes.
I've got an old mag burner, white with black mags.
Used to ride it to work in Hackney a few years ago, now it's in bits... in car or shanks' pony for me these days.

This is what I bought earlier this week. He sent it to me on Wednesday, arrived to Finland this morning. Called to Posti and asked where I can pick it up? The answer was "Call back sometime next week."
What the fuck is that? It took two days to travel from Czech to Finland and now they will keep it here for more than three days and not giving it to me? Finnish Posti is prob the worst post office on earth.
Well here's the link so you get the idea what I'm waiting so eagerly

Sounds similar to what i had, started life as a gold super tuff burner but after peeling that gold coating off it looked much better chrome, had a few mountain bikes and am thinking of buying another........
