Huh? Frame on the Specialized is alloy isn't it? Sweet bike Whiskey, although not burly enough for my style of riding
And damn e-z! Is that how it was delivered?!? Looks like a brake lever's been banging against it during transit, we used to see it all the time.

That's how it came out from the box. It could be break lever, but it's a bit too low for that. That's the lower pipe of the frame.

Yeah but pretty much all bikes tend to be boxed from the factory with the handle bars/stem cable-tied to the side of the frame. If they've not been secured/packed well they take chunks out of your top or down tube, depending on the frame's front triangle configuration. Regardless of how it happened, if that's how it turned up then I'd be on the phone demanding a new bike or at the very least some hefty discount.
