Normally 2, sometimes 2.5 but once, they made 1.42m pairs and left them in a warehouse deadstock to make a mint after 40 years.

Asides from reading it on many sites, I was actually told this by an Adidas representative when I called Adidas up and they searched the specialty stores in their online database for me when I got my first pair of Tennis Super sneakers. Even though (most of, if not all of) Adidas stores don't sell them, they were able to tell me the specialty stores that do.

In casy you're not familiar with the Adidas Consortium line - the Adidas design team uses unique materials to construct a very limited series of sneakers including retro models, and are limited to only 350 pair of each model. That's what makes them limited, plus the fact that hardly any Adidas stores actually carry the Consortium line - they are made for specialty stores (like Harput, ALife, Hanon Shoes, Pick Your Shoes, etc). I've never been one to want to wear the same ole' sneakers that you'll see most people wear - I like to seek out unique and limited run sneakers too. So again, why four pair? Because I want to ensure that I'll have a pair to wear for the next 20+ years. I'll get about five years worth from each pair.

Pickyourshoes is not a Consortium partner. We (Sole Service) produced our own Consortium Adidas called Oslo last year, that was produced in 800 pairs. I don´t know where the number 350 came from, but that´s wrong.

I don´t even know why I bother explaining this, but there you go, a little schooling for you.. I suggest you seek a bit more knowledge before you come on here and try to school people..

BTW.: Mr.P. is VERY familiar with Consortium mate, don´t front..
