Things that make me go.. Wahoo!!!

I became a dad for the most adorable little girl last night. Haven't ever really felt anything even remotely as good as that. Amazing feeling.

All good buddy! I feel like popping the Taittinger Blanc de Blanc -95 but I think I will have to save it until Mrs can have some as well Smile
BTW is there similar practice in other countries like we do and what are they called? After the birth the father gets all the friends (usually just dudes) to have a drink. We call it "Varpajaiset" which translates loosely to counting fingers and toes. What it really means is that all the buddies come around to celebrate the baby but most of all everyone knows that the father will not be available for ad hoc drinking/fishing/put-your-hobby-here for a very very long time.

We call it "wetting the babies head".
Probably hold out and wait for your mrs before opening the Taittinger mate. We drank a 96 Belle Epoque to celebrate the birth of our 1st, about 8 months later.

Congrats Ez.
I decided long ago that I didn't want kids but I've heard many times that it's the best feeling in the world.

Yep! They were right. Can't describe it. You have to feel it. If I would send you the video I took about two hours after birth, you would probably just think it's cute at best. While I'd be reaching for my handkerchief to dry my eyes.

Wait, I have the most adorable little girl, so how can you also have the most adorable little girl? Laughing  I'll let you hold the title since my "little girl" is 19 and just finished her sophomore year of college.  But they are always "little" and "most adorable" Smile

Yes, a great feeling.  It goes fast, so enjoy it.

And yes, now that you have a girl, it'll make you think of all of the times when you drooled and flirted with some other Dad's "most adorable little girl".  To this day, I see boys checking out my daughter.  An odd feeling.  Dad's know when it's happening.  Our "Spidey Sense" kicks in.

Congratulations!!!
