Nice work on the cake front.
I had my 40th in May last year and my darling wife had a friend of hers do a Supe inspired cake. Thing looked great, apart from the fact that the stripes were that \\\ way instead of that /// !!!!! As I opened my eyes, the only thing I could say, In a half-whimper, was "the stripes are the wrong way around" like an 8 year old who's been given a present that wasn't quite up to his expectation. Tasted good though. Apparently, it took about 5 hours to make.

Thanks everyone. I'm hoping by the time I go to bed tonight I will have at least received one pair of Supes for my birthday but so far nothing...
Supes I must have at some point in a UK11/12....

Yeah that was me. I managed to sneak a couple of pairs into The collection without her noticing. I then wrapped one pair up for Christmas "from Santa" which didn't go down to well but did avoid a full blown argument. However I won't be pulling that one again so I currently have a couple of pairs still in hiding. One pair is the Halloween pair so they can stay hidden until October. The other is my Yoda's which I'm still trying to sell. I had a pair that were too small so I gave them to my Dad for Christmas. Difficulty is I've got two pairs on the way, 2 pairs on hold and there's at least a couple of pairs coming out very soon that I really want!

I wanted to share my good news with y'all, and I figured this would be the most appropriate thread to do it.
After 4 years in a shitty, part-time, minimum wage job, surrounded my idiots, I have finally gotten myself a real job!
I start on Monday, it's full time, fair money (anything is better than what I get at the moment ) and the office is 10 mins walk from my house.
Also, one of the best perks for me is, it's a casual office, which means after four years of wearing work boots every day, I get to wear my kicks to work...every day! WINNING!!! Also means that I can start buying more pairs again (assuming any decent ones come out!)
Anyway, thats what "I been doing", and I couldn't be happier.
