Dirty A, that there is the great divide between the British and the Americans.
Wearing sandals is bad.
Wearing socks with sandals is a no no.
Wearing white socks with sandals is just wrong, on so many levels.
I know the American contingent in the main don't get it but white socks went out with the dinosaurs !

Its the fact that you know they are white which is the bad thing. and if u accidentally decide to take a sit .. as you do. The whiteness stands out like white against black/dark colour/any colour (even white)

If you wear pants that fit properly, they shouldn't rise up enough to see your socks anyway even when sitting.

And knowing that I'm wearing white socks? Guess I never really cared...I know it's bad to wear white socks with a suit, but not casual. White has a nice fresh look in my opinion. You do it your way, I'll do it my way

I've got white socks for days! I dont wear em with my suit at work, but when im in casuals ive nearly always got white socks on.

I dont think theres any shame to it.

My sarcasm is lost here! I would never wear sandals nor knee high white socks nor any combination of the two! The only thing you will ever find on my feet is ankle socks and soups!

White socks should only be worn for sporting events.
Wazz, If you sit like a proper man in england trousers come up so white socks are completely and utterly a no no.

Also what if you are strolling along in black levi jeans and some nice black lux's and all of a sudden you see Phil Knight sliding head first at you on a skateboard with dunks on..trying to rip the supes of your feet.

You would have to jump out of the way; hence showing the white socks. Embarrassing moment for you, you can never be too careful.

I do have a hard time believing that you cannot wear socks of any colour, but that's just me.

Personally, I've always been into interesting socks. Socks with skulls, multi coloured socks, argyle. And they don't often match my soops, my shirt or my trousers.
