i know a few of you are into your dubs so thought id ask you about anything to look out for when buying a mk1 golf gti cabby ?

been offered a swap on my bmw for one ive liked for a while - leather interior, ronal Turbo R10 alloys etc - its very nice to look at but i dont know the first thing a bout golfs

having just sold a genuine pair of 35ths on fleabay for only £70 it got me thinking why they went so cheap. Obviously one answer is no one wanted them or no one could afford them, but also are the abundance of fakes on ebay affecting value ?

anyway to my point - ebay are not interested in getting rid of the fake sellers despite what they may say due to the money they make, so has anybody ever contacted adidas to see what they are doing about fake adidas being sold on ebay ?

a few years back i sold a few Ford microcat CD's on ebay - these were just working copies of the ford parts software and ford heads buy them so they can go to the dealership ready armed with the part number they are after etc. Anyway , within about two weeks of selling these microcats i recieved a very nasty letter from the makers of the m-cat system threatening legal action if i did not send them my master copy and stop selling them - needless to say i crapped myself and stopped selling them - so surely some sort of response like that from adidas would scare a lot of the fake sellers off ?

what ya reckon - are adidias doing anything about piracy ?

I'm slowly trying to clear out stuff i've either not worn or can't see myself wearing in the near future.
First up are the Superstar Suedes from the anniversary series.
Worn a handful of times and apart from some sock bobbling they are in almost mint condition. They still even have a wiff of that fresh sneaker smell.
They come with 3 spare pairs of laces and are 100% authentic and i'm sure there are many members that will vouch for me.





Also up for grabs are a pair of navy blue Puma Suedes.
These have never even been tried on and as you can see from the photo's one of them hasn't even been laced up yet.
Comes with thin blue laces and a pair of phat whites so you can pull your B-Boy stance in front of the mirror.




Both pairs are UK9 and i'm open to offers on them.

RE my selling query thread:

not being funny but "do a search" doesnt answer the question i had imo.

if you look in my 35th adicolor thread in the for sale forum i want able to post a proper " link " to my ebay auction and you cant do that - in fact there are no post buttons such as attach image, indent link etc as there are in all the other forums.

Whilst im not overly assed about the whole thing it seems a little off imo that just because certain people may be gazumped or beaten in an auction that no ebay auctions can be linked to. I was under the impression that this was a community which shares a great wealth of knowledge and the banning of ebay links goes completely against that.

What say i want to bid on a pair of shoes on ebay but are unsure they are fake - can i link to that auction ?

Ill assume the answer would be yes as the consensus is that everyone helps each other out

BUT - what if the same pair of kicks i ask for a verification on turn out to be genuine and a bargain - others may bid on them , and ill live with that - aint the end of teh world

anyway what im saying is

A - i still cant post a proper link to my own auction

B - what happened to sharing this huge wealth of experiance thats on here ?
