A lot of tits pass through this place. Most IMO get a bit of stick to reveal their mettle. Some get a rougher ride than others.  But those that stick around generally get embraced by the group. A lot of us used to spend a lot of money but now have calmed down, some moving away from the forum to avoid temptation. A lot of people find the forum and go on an unsustainable shopping spree. There is little point attempting to rein someone in when they are of that mind set. Maybe by showing little interest in the purchases, it can help.. by not adding fuel to the fire? I don't know.
I think if you are gonna wear these then fair play. Enjoy them.

i think I have been banned a few times im still here I just read posts generally those trainers are quality and if I had the cash to throw at these then I would of bought them but I don't and its good to see someone that has got them so they can tell us about them , don't worry about Fritze he must of not got laid that day when he posted that

You said when you joined that you'd never spent long dough on a pair of trainers yet here you are, scant weeks later having done a grand on a pair.
I probably should've banned you for your own good the day you showed up.

People get banned for all sorts of reasons and they certainly don't have to walk on eggshells.
Sneakerphile was a right pain in the arse when he showed up, rubbing me properly up the wrong way and possibly others besides.
Nobody said shit to me about him though and I'm not the kind of person to ban someone based solely on how I feel about the situation.

As has been mentioned by many in here (outside of this forum) having a huge avatar, constantly quoting things from the same page, using untold gifs, collecting noikes, buying multiple pairs of the same limited release when there are other people (on the forum) who would like a pair, tying bows with your laces, going mad with your credit card and being a bit of a hatstand aren't individually enough to get a person banned.

In your opening post, you didn't mention that they were samples.  So, I wasn't even sure that you noticed that they were samples.  I was merely trying to point it out.  Owning samples can be a cool thing.  I've had samples over the years.  I just don't know how many other samples were made of the same one that I had.  If yours is a 1-of-1, cool  Since there was only 35 of the real ones made, then there's 36 out there.  Either way, I was more impressed with the purchase itself.  I'd be living in that cool white briefcase if I spent US$1,000+ on a pair of shoes....any pair of shoes.

and if the geezer wants to spend a grand  to get props from people he doesn't even know or will ever meet then that is fine its his money !!!

Just copped my Top Secrets in my size (UK12) for £400 this month. They'll never be worn but will be displayed with pride amongst my collection.

As for the grief. I've had my share, made unpopular comments and now I just check in and have a read from time to time. People made it clear they didn't want me as part of this community and luckily I found another where people are a bit more chilled out.

This place is a bit of a clique of old skool supeheads. It is what it is and it's a shame it's so closed off to those on the outside.

Maybe one day things will change and maybe I'll be more accepted but I'm not interested in kissing anyone's arse to earn some respect. I'll let my collection speak for itself as time goes on.
