I clicked on your link above to check out the listing. So you snagged a sample version of Top Secret?

Married yes, kids... my Superstars (my cats really)

Not really sure why he put them on as SAMPLE. When I checked in with him they belonged to his friend who won them at the tombola/raffle event, he had the gold envelop thingy too. Lucky sod. 

I'm chuffed though. I got so caught up in that 35th madness back then that I feel like I own a part of adidas history now that I got hold of these.

Oh yeah, do they all say that I wonder, they were never on for sale. Anybody else own a pair of these?

No signs of wear although I'd say they've been tried on once at least.

Heerhh.... I don't want to get into a war here, we're all a bit long in the tooth for that shit anyway. 
I bought a pair of trainers that I've wanted for the longest time for an amount that I could afford and I'm chuffed to have em. What's the fucking problem?

I'm a tolerant guy and can take a shot on the chin but so far I've been called a fool, idiot and now the equivalent of buying "fakes".  

I don't normally let people get away with disrespecting me when they don't even know me but I'm new to your community and want to fit in. Plus I've seen that NEW people get banned at the drop of a hat in here so what's the point in me spitting shit back at you all? Even if that was my thing.

I joined to share my appreciation for something we all enjoy and get the occasional heads up, I ain't got time for the roughness.  

So please, to anyone else who is upset* (*insert you own word here) by my buying these can you just keep it to yourself?

A lot of tits pass through this place. Most IMO get a bit of stick to reveal their mettle. Some get a rougher ride than others. But those that stick around generally get embraced by the group. A lot of us used to spend a lot of money but now have calmed down, some moving away from the forum to avoid temptation. A lot of people find the forum and go on an unsustainable shopping spree. There is little point attempting to rein someone in when they are of that mind set. Maybe by showing little interest in the purchases, it can help.. by not adding fuel to the fire? I don't know.
I think if you are gonna wear these then fair play. Enjoy them.
