Adidas Pro Model Safety (4589Cool
Very popular on the courts back in the 1970's, largely because of the extra ankle support provided by the ankle padding. Part of the adidas safety pack, this Pro Model features an oil resistant sole and steel toe caps. Black/Black/Macaw.

Now they don't look too bad.
Obviously I've seen Promodels, having several pairs, but I didn't know they'd made a Saftey version.
They look kind of cool.

I like the all-black/white-stitching colorway... would have preferred it on a vintage Superstar though
