Word. Of course some manufacturers claims are to be taken with a big pinch of salt but on the whole, anyone who thinks specific shoes for specific activities is just marketing and promotion is somewhat misguided and in for some bad days when they get older!

Clogs are the exception though G, can't go wrong in a pair of solid wooden runners. Only if they have a windmill and tulips on them though (they have to be stereotypical)

Lorrie speaks the truth. Proper running shoes are essential. That impact is being absorbed someplace and if it's not in the sole, it's in your body.
