Are the 80s the same fit (size) as your eldridges??
Just heard that 80s are bigger fitting, thus 1/2 size smaller????

As far as I'm concerned eldridges are 80's and they fit the same.
With God's help I'll conquer this terrible affliction.

I disagree. The Eldrigdes do have more padding. Especially the tongue. Maybe it's me but the black Eldridges seem to have even more padding in the tongue than the whites. I stick to my size when it comes to 80's because the length of the shoe is just right. It's just that they are so damn wide so I always use insoles. I don't have to with the Eldridges.

My eldrigdes fit like most normal supes, not like my 80s.
No way I would have paid that for the plants, never really liked them, no real difference to the all whites at a much cheaper price

I wish all my 80's were like my Eldridges. They are so comfy.
I don't like those plants at all. Maybe the materials are nice but they are just white 80's with a strange looking heel-patch.
I also own an number of white 80's but they all have different colored stripes which makes differ from the other.
