I'm not sure if he's still in jail, He got 18 months but may have been let out early for good behaviour, although I doubt that very much. You've never been to a football match until you've been to one in Jamaica. No one bats an eyelid when supporters let off a few rounds of semi-automatic or sub-machine gun fire in celebration of a goal and a mass brawl involving all the players is pretty much par for the course most matches!
I'm pretty sure a Jamaican footballer was killed once when a crate of Red Stripe got drunk at half time when it was supposed to be part of the prize for the winners!
