I thought I did make an PayPal-claim by opening a case in eBay. I didn't realise those are two different things.

Damn, you should've been on top of the deadlines...I was on the other end of it and was hoping dude would let time run out but he didn't (but now I know that if I don't get an item within 14 days or so, claim gets opened)...shit part is, he got his money back and I would imagine he probably eventually got the shoes too. Dealing with paypal is a BITCH if you're the seller because if you don't have tracking for some reason, they ALWAYS refund the buyer. Ebay owns paypal so if paypal says no, ebay probably will too. I guess you can hope they arrive or that the guy will file the insurance claim (which will probably denied as well, because insurance is for damaged items really and not for lost items)...send over some goons with bats!

£51. They are from the UK, so you UK-guys must pay him a visit with bats for me.

Good for you Rob
Now all you need is for them to turn up (assuming they were sent in the first place)
