80's lacing
#1

I only have 80's in my collection, so I can't compare for myself, but is it maybe so that the 80's model is a bit tighter than other models when you lace them? I'm asking cause I get a lot of comments all the time from people that my lacing's to tight. I'm not after any extra loose lacing, just the normal thing and it doesn't get any looser than this:

If I would want looser lacing I would have to have a narrower size.

What do you say who can compare different models?

you can lace em as loose as you want, if they are too loose then i guess either wear thicker socks or dont bother.

we hear just like the looser lacing look i guess...

all about personal preference mate u can lace em however you want

Rock 'em how you wanna rock 'em PS! If they fit fine, they're comfy and you can look at them without wanting to lop off you feet then its all good!

Yeah I know thanks Niko and Samo! Smile

I forgot I hade a pair of II's that I don't use anymore. The 80's most defentily have a tighter design:

Has it already come to this, my name being associated with shoe-slipping Laughing

I might have problems with the vins but wearing 80's is even worse. They are so damn wide. I also like the wide look so I have to wear insoles to keep them on. I also use insoles in some of my vins. It's either that or tight lacing. You make the choice.

wide? damn... I have the opposite problem lol
if I wear a us12 I dont even need laces, they bear hug my wideass feet

I tend to lace my shoes to the point where the lace keeps its original shape, e.g. you slip your foot in and the laces dont go skinny from stretching/being too tight

Lace them, put your foot in and then loosen the laces until you can just tie them or tuck them.

or insoles will help your feet pad the sneak out more, then you can wear the laces a bit looser
body form stuck to the top of your foot, to add extra padding to the toungue?...lol
