1987, I remember it well as I'd been after a pair for years already by that point. My Dad was working in German a lot at the time and after months of pestering he finally came home one weekend with a pair of "Made In France" white SS1's with black stripes. That were slightly too small but I couldn't have been happier. Second pair came about 18 months later when I scored a wht/red pair in Amsterdam.

Mmmh year 2000 needed / was told had to wear black or all white shoes for nurse training. Really liked supes after seeing such bands as Korn and Run DMC wear em etc. Decided the lesbian white flats the older nurses wore where not going to be rocked on my young ass feet. So i got a white SS2 with silver stripes n eyelets. Wore them till stones came thru the sole and the sold started to come away. Then they went sadly to heaven.

Got my first supes at the start of 07 (Late starter I know!), a pair of black suede ones, got them when I was returning another inferior brand of sneaks that the stitching had popped on...
