I must admit I was surprised when the smoking ban kicked in up here that it included pubs. I personally didn't mind it in a pub as it was all I knew, but now I think it's great as I don't reek of fags every time I leave my local.

I put up with it and didn't moan but sometimes it fucked me right off and I made it quite clear if people around me weren't to clever with where they blew that shit.

I used to work in a night club/music venue when the ban came in one of the rooms stunk like month old sick, the rancid smell even got a mention in kerrang

The smoke did'nt make them smell better, i mean there is nowt worse than the smell of stale ciggies on your clothes, it just disguised the smell of everything else. Most beers stink, stella smells fucking nasty and carlsberg is even worse

Yeah, FHM tested Stella about 20 years ago and found loads of shit in it that would normally be found in household cleaners and polishes.
