I was walking around the new mall in Limmasol, Cyprus...

And came across a pair of these

I thought they where fairly fresh.. but they where 80 euros so i thought i wouldn't bother.

So i come home and try and find some on ebay.. and to my suprise!

Is it possible that there is another less limited edition that i could have tried on today? Or have i just passed up on a fantastic deal!!

Just to dispel any fake suggestions, this was a proper Adidas shop.

They had 2 more in stock and the sales guy had a pair on, according to some ebay listings there where only 300 made so i find it a bit off that 3 of them (or more) ended up on this tiny island!

Does anyone know how many where produced?

and more importantly should i drive over on Monday and pick them both up!!!

80 euros is about £60 which is what Adidas was selling the plain white with black stripe 80s for.
My bet is that's what you saw.

They HAD the diamonds though... and the engravement in the sole..

100% identical to the ones in the picture :-/

Is it possible like i say that its a more common version of a similar shoe?

To go over what they had...

white fine, REALLY smooth leather
black stripes, with 3 diamonds in between each
leather inside rather than the usual superstar cotton/padding

When you say plain white and black are we talking the same shoe.. just without diamonds?

If they ARE the real deal. anyone interested!

Highly unlikely they are real, but without seeing them its hard to say for sure, 80 euros though

its also highly likely that they have messed up with the price/stock etc though... afterall it is Cyprus!

Anybody know what box etc the originals come in.. these where displayed in a metal box, but the sales guy didn't mention that they came in that or whatever..

Its a fairly new proper adidas shop so the chance of them being fake is none really..

well at the o store in melbourne i think those diamond ones were 1200 bucks lol...in a big glass cabinet! so yer..ill have a US11 haha
