I got mine as well last week, both the black and white versions, and neither look tumbled. Well, except for one half of the uppers on one of the black ones, it does have a little bit of that look, so maybe they'll get the tumbled look when worn?
I don't think they would do batches using different types of leather, but leather is leather and not two pieces are the same, so who knows.
The Lukers seem to sell out fast btw, I found around 10 shops that had them already last weekend and most of their stock was gone already. Caliroots even got a re-stock and they more or less all sold within 24 hours.

They are nice, no doubt, but worth it? Hard to say, I guess that's for the individual to decide. I'm glad I bought them and I actually think the black model is the better of the two even though I loved the white model more from the pics (like most I think).
There's nothing 'extra' or luxurious about them though (IMO), so I'm guessing the high price is simply because it's a collab, and both parties want money (as always with collabs).

Your comments are exactly what I suspected Lars re: the Lukers...I've passed and have no regrets...still smarting from a recent purchase, but no regrets there either! The cardinal n black kzks are much better than the Lukers IMO - worth the full pop if you ask me - even better if peeps got em at a disc...I didn't
