Well the fact i hadnt noticed shows that if you wanted a shoe to be all about london, that maybe you chose the wrong point to focus on?
If you had stuck a cityscape or something else stenciled in that blue and put the plaque in the 3M material, i know id like them alot better.

Fair dos to ya for coming in here and standing up for what you do.
I ain't a big fan but I admire you for having the balls to stand up and be counted amongst possibly your harshest critics.
Blue Plaque - bad.
Lack of stripes - bad.
Overall theme -weak.
Colours - quite tasty.
The design of the shoe comes across as a bit arrogant when I'd, for one, never heard of you.
But then, I ain't big on the artfag scene in general so that's no surprise.
I hope it works out for you and I look forward to hearing your criticism when I do a collab.

Now the details and iconography have been pointed out . . . as a supe representing London it's better than the travesty that was the 35th London. I don't think the blue plaque as the central theme is strong though, especially as those plaques are all over the gaff.

The actual things that are icons are not as prominent as the the blue plaque that is not really an icon. Thats all im saying. If I was doing a London themed shoe it would be very different...
Like some of the others have said, hats off to you for coming here and talking about your design, and for not throwing your toys out of the pram when someone criticises it. I admit I have never heard of you untill I first saw these supes a while back. Do you have a website or something, I'd be curious to see some of your other work.

No offense but any numpty can cut out a stencil, it needs hard yards and style to be any good at graffiti.

Basquiat and Haring weren't graffiti artists either.
Yeah, Seen, Dondi, Daim, people like that.
No need for the ignorant comment Reid, I didn't say there wasn't some skill involved in the planning of the higher end stuff but most of it isn't like that and at the end of the day, following a line with a scalpel doesn't exactly take training !
The vast majority of stencilling is rubbish, a bit like the incessant scratching on windows and toy tags all over the place.

Do me a favour !
If I put chicken tikka in the microwave, it doesn't make me a chef.
So they wrote their names on a wall a few times with a spraycan cos they saw the cool kids doing it, big fucking deal !
Don't be using the term "writers" in conjunction with them two, cos they most definitely weren't !
