Nice treatment of the heel with the plant.
The name Makoto Azuma probably refers to a japanese ex-musician who went from a grunge rock band to become an artist creating expressionistic art with flower and plant arrangements and sculptings often with his selfmade glass jars and vases or alternatively "clothing". He has a boutique in Tokyo where he is selling his designs and has also done several collaboration exhibitions with Kazuki Kuraishi of the ObyO 80s fame.
According to Azuma's blog pics
here, it kind of looks like there's also a matching track top to these supes but it's hard to tell from those low quality pics and video.

Didn't want to make an own thread to this so posted it here.
A new Consortium "Your City" series consisting of 12 pairs in total was announced some days back. The first of apparently 3 rounds features 4 non-supe pairs and they're being hyped about allover now. For example
here.
In addition to the 1st round pairs (Bodega/Boston, Solebox/Berlin, UNDFTD/L.A. and Sole Service/Oslo), anyone know what the remaining 8 pairs will be, any supes or pro models perhaps? Haven't found any details about them yet except for the cities.. Copenhagen, London, Milan, New York, Paris, Stockholm, Tokyo and Toronto which will be introduced later.

None of 'em are Supes.
Isn't the Cities series made up entirely of the models named after the Cities themselves ?

Maybe, i don't know. Don't have any experience with the older Cities series either which is why i asked.
*edit* You're correct. I reread through the wall of text about the Your City series and somehow managed to miss the section first time around where it was mentioned all the 12 pairs are indeed based on models of the original Cities series but with updated colourways and other fresh ideas. And yes, each model was originally designed to represent the city itself as well as possible. Now the revisited models will also be collabs with the famous shoe stores of the specific cities. But i doubt i'll have much interest in them. Luckily - for my wallet.

Yeah. Just found out that Livestock did the Toronto model, so I'll probably grab those, but otherwise not much interest.
