I just picked up this model over the weekend. They really are a clean pair of Supes. They are a fabric that I have yet to see on a pair of Supes, at least none of mine others have them. The stripes aren't leather, they're a fabric along the same lines as the fabric of shoe. Very clean and crisp. Got 'em in the Bay Area for $50. I'm diggin' 'em so far. Already wore them out.

yeah, was thinking they probably would, if not its an 11 year wait..but then maybe a 50th may be more likely, or maybe they wont do any more anniversary collections... just seems like too good an opportunity for them to pass up on

I can see a 50th would be a massive campaign... but a 40th only 5 years after a huge 35th campaign just seems like it'd be half assed and a let down.

but, knowing marketing there'll be a 40th... and it'll be a set of 40 patents in a variety of hideous colours and then some nugget will buy the complete set, video tape himself trying on all 40 pairs and then post it up on youtube...
