Lee Quinones - Look real to you?

SoulStar Wrote:Heres a newbie question from a newbie kicks fan when u talk about eyelets are u taking about the holes where the laces go through?
i shud shut up now Embarassed

Some Superstars just have holes for the laces and some have eyelets which are metal rings around the holes for the laces. Hope that makes sense.

Nothing wrong about asking questions mate, that's what forums are made for too.

Very Happy

All i can say is if you are unsure about buying a pair of the SS because you might think they are fake (which 75% on ebay are at the moment) then dont buy them you need to be 100% sure as i hate hearing that people have been rip off from wank seller's of ebay Embarassed

We will get they in the end to stop the fake seller's Wink

soulstar, whats the word on the PP's?

I wrote the guy (Andy) last night to find out if he had a tracking number for me... normally he's been on the ball with repsonses but haven't heard from him basically since I paid. Once (and if!) I get them I will take some more flix and post them up here. Already dreading if they aren't real and having to return them... dammit.

Well well as though every body that replied stated the PPs b fake so i avoided them. however i did question him about his kicks and ur right he usually be's on ball and responds fairly quickly but when i put forward a few questions to him he took a couple of days to get back to me.

Well the questions that i askd Andy (the Seller) were regards to the authenticiy of the PPs and the LQ with the help of the people on the forum who picked out things that indicated that the kicks were fake. So i asked him about these Defects and he e-mailed me back with this:

"my shoes is for you to wear it, not cost you hundreds of pounds and leave them there just keep in the room."

Decipher this how u like, the impression i got is he sells very convincing fakes that u can wear where ever u like such as to the club n get dem scuffed or punched in with a stiletto heel n shit! Sad well u know use em and abuse them.

I sent man a vast amount of questions and thats all he comes back with, nothing to argue my points of why i thinks he is selling fakes.
I haven't been bothered to get intouch with him since recieving his e-mail.

let us know how u get on with him and remmeber if u an't satisfied u got Ebay saftey centre to get help dealing with the seller.

Thats very interesting... My only concern is I did buy one pair to rock and one to stock. That pisses me off since I was looking to "keep a pair in my room", they are in route to me now. I will get some detailed photos of the actual pairs once I get them in hands.

Maybe we can put this to rest at that point. I think I've already decided that I'm returning atleast one pair since I don't want even an inkling of a doubt in regards to authenticity. The other... shit, I'll just rock but will need to talk to him about a discount on that.

Here's his response when I wrote him regarding the authenticity of the shoes. I am starting to see the issues with the laces and the stitching by the stripes myself after looking at webshots of the Lees.

Can't trust eBay pics since all seem to be the same...outside of eBay is where I've done my research.

Anyways, here's his response:
> why you ask all of this after you get the tracking number, why didn't you
> contact me before we sent them out?
>
> i realy thanks for your business, however if you are not happy with the deal
> we been talking with the email, then please don't even open the

The guy is alright, but I just can't take the chance, nor do I want to since I planned on re-selling one pair down the road. I'm not gonna gip someone on my mistake, if that truly is the case.

Dammit, now to write him back and tell him I'll be sending them right back. Mad

Anyone know where I can buy some AUTHENTIC Lees in a US 10.5?? I'm so jaded on eBay right now.

Hmmmm, I don't know how to read this last email. Makes me want to beleive him, but I am still on the fence. I've told him I will send them right back and he's emailed me 5 times to discuss it so far, each one with more explination.

hi steve

i forgot to tell you another thing which i think you may concern. i think the most reason you said it's fake is the price i offer was so low, right?and you also said i can not give receipt from the shop. do you know there is a factory in SuZhou(near ShangHai) where make shoes for adidas international group. i know a friend work in that factory. so the lee you bought is from that friend, now you should understand everything.right?

regards

andy
