Only just heard the news and i'm totally,utterly shocked.
Michael jackson was the biggest artist ever a true legend who transcended music and influenced nearly every artist to follow.whatever music your into you can be sure michael jackson influenced that singer,group in some way.He'll never be forgotten and never be surpassed.
most successful artist of all time,biggest selling album of all time,truely amazing dancer,entertainer,showman etc etc etc etc
I was so looking forward to seeing him in concert this summer

Its really an tragedy! I can't believe it. I saw it yesterday on TV. There was a fan and she said "Thats the day the music died" Rest in peace Michael.

You all know where i stand, made my feelings known last night in the 'MJ 02 concert' thread.
The way i see it, alot of people have formed their opinion on him based on unproved allegations. Stuff which we will never know the truth about. But the one thing that we can prove is his musical legacy.
If we focus on the facts, the only thing we know for defitine is that as a musician/entertainer he was genius.

I think my wife summed it up this morning. She said that MJ was to music what Einstein was to science, she also said that he was like the Weird Big Brother that left home before you were born but was always in your life.
RIP MJ your music was an inspiration. I think we can forgive your eccentricities because those with genius also tend to be a little strange.
