See, that's what I'm talking about !
Some of you newer chaps are solid gold but there's a lot of waffling going on and if one of the older (infirm) members comes in, it's difficult for him to negotiate his zimmer round all the crap.
So they end up hobbling back out onto the sunshine bus and going home for some soup and a werthers !

I think that if we make it harder to join the forum then at least we'll weed out the first round of twats. Make them write a proper intro, post pics and then limited access to the forum until a decent number of posts.
I think 100 is still too low to be able to sell. Last week was full of bumps for crap no one is interested in.

Someone suggested that newbies shouldn't be able start new topics and I think that could do the trick (of course they should be able to start an intro-topic though).
Not sure if it could be done in real life, but how about this:
It's not possible to post at all unless you've made an intro, and after that you can only post in topics already existing, say, until you've reached 50 posts or so.
I know it would still be possible to spam a few topics and then start posting stupid questions on your own, but it would also be fairly easy to spot and moderators could throw the person out on his/hers ass and elbows
On the other hand, people who were really into Supes would probably be posting anyway and have no problem posting 50 genuine posts in a short period of time.
Anyway, just a thought
Superstars are indeed super...

to make this easy... Olstar, Mr.Pure, Streak and Woody. should just do what they gotta do. everyones got a different opinion. they up hold the law and run this site. i think a joining fee would stop the twats, if not, at least Olstar gets help with donations. £10 me thinks.

He won't do that, I'm sure, he tried it on Maxxd and the membership died.
Donations every now and then from the willing is cool bananas.
I just wanted to hear what everyone else thought and from the looks of things, we're pretty much united.

I just don't think you should make it tougher for new members to join.
I would never have joined if the proces was at all difficult. And I don't think anyone would say that I'm nothing less than a die hard Superstar aficianado and always have been. I knew the level of Superstar fans I was around when I joined and knew from cruising the forum before I joined that I was going to have to pace myself when getting involved in order to earn acceptance. Some people don't feel this way and go at it way too hard.
Again, I think different people are here for different reasons and some people have a different vision of the perfect forum. You will likely scare off some good members as a result of making joining difficult.
