Take your eyes and your mind off all that wackness, and focus on the dopeness, yo, ’cause beyond your worries about the past and projections of the future, there is a ton of dopeness in this moment right now.

Darren Clarke winning The Open.
Lovely bloke, normally bet on him but decided he could do without my curse this year, result.
Lost his wife last year.
Properly welled up I did during the prize ceremony for many reasons including Seve's passing.
It won't make me decide to stop collecting trainers though..................

Whilst only having a passing interest in the sport itself, I did find it a tad ironic that Rory "I really believed my own hype" Mcilroy said that links Golf was not for him and blamed the weather for his poor showing.

Yeah, he'll always do better at american style target Golf.
Shame really.
He needs to learn all the running type shots if he's gonna win The Open.

The hype for RM was stupid, before the Open started radio 5live were basically talking about who was going to come 2nd!

Darren Clarke's a prick, seen him at the open a few times always refusing to sign anything that wasn't scrappy bits of paper for a kids that didn't even know who he was and generally being a bit of a rude twat and this was about 10 years ago

How come you were at The Open?
If it was during play then I completely understand and wouldn't have signed anything at all.
I noticed during play that he never gave his ball to anyone that asked for it, instead giving it to a boy who was just standing there cheering him on.
You could well be right though, maybe he is a bit of a prick when the camera's not on him.

I wasn't there this year but went for about 5 years in a row a while back, my Dad likes golf. It was always on practice days and he was always being a miserable twat when ever I saw him, most of them tend to be pleasant enough and will chat with you sign whatever but Clarke was on a par with Greg Norman for being arrogant rude dick.
I seen woods do a similar thing with some kid and his ball.
